xx -- You've Got the Love -- xx

UK arena in 09 was the centerpiece to some valiant femme-charmed electro-pop with likes of Bat For Lashes, La Roux, Little Boots and of course Florence + the Machine (the recording name of Florence Welch). Her album Lungs was nominated this year for a Mercury Prize and all in all London, just like every other year was busy giving birth to its musical offsprings that brough us brand new recipes of pop. Amongst all the waves, we also encounter an eccentric deviation of R&B introduced by The xx which might not be our favorite representation of the genre but was undoubtedly an indie-media darling. The current line-up of xx is Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim, Jamie Smith and their whispering 2 AM dream pop recorded in their garage has a sense of growing on modern pop enthusiasts.

Lungs ends with a three minute hit "You've Got the Love" but it's recently xx-d to be twice as long and mellower in nature and altough it's been labeled a mix everywhere, it's apparently The xx's interpretation of the song. So here it is.
